The Object of the NSW Branch
The following is part of the Constitution of the NSW Branch Inc.
The Society’s object is to encourage the study of the reign and reputation of Richard III and late fifteenth century English history.
The objects needed to allow us to fulfil our primary object shall be
- Organise lectures and conferences on historical subjects;
- Publish a scholarly journal and a members’ bulletin;
- Maintain a library and information service for the benefit of members and others;
- Organise Society research; encourage other research projects; and disseminate the results of research through publication or grants towards publication;
- Support the Richard III Society and Yorkist History Trust;
- Organise visits to places of historical interest;
- Support, at the discretion of the Committee, the restoration of historic buildings and sites of particular importance to the life and times of Richard III;
- Take suitable measures to commemorate the life and times of Richard III; and
- Do such things as will further the aims of the Society.
